Firefox keeps "forgetting" style sheets

I am having a persistent problem with FF 3.6, and have had this for quite some time. I'll be using a site and then intermittently it will just "forget" the style sheet and/or formatting information for the site, showing it in an improperly formatted form. If I hit Ctrl+F5 the problem goes away, only to return again some random number of page loads later.

This happens across a wide variety of websites.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Best regards,

Charles

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

See:

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

  • Use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions.
  • Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Also make sure that your security software is allowing the Firefox program and isn't delaying internet access for Firefox.

Thanks.. but I've disabled everything that I don't need and it keeps happening. I was really hoping maybe some others had experienced this sort of thing before.
