New Tab option doesn't work. I've tried clicking on the New Tab icon, entering Ctrl+T, and going to File/NewTab. Nothing works. In Tools/Options/Tabs, all tab options have been selected. If I'm on a website & click a link it will open in a new tab. I just can't directly open a new tab. Please help.

Try uninstalling the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.

Awesome, I'm so glad you know the answer! How do I uninstall the Ask toolbar?

It should be listed in the add-ons manager, for details of how to uninstall it see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons
