I have Firefox 3.6.15 and Java 6 (24) running. I need to download an app and it's just hanging.

I checked Console and see this: java.lang.SecurityException: Permission denied: file: <filename> at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2Manager$AppletExecutionRunnable.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

I've checked Firefox Options and I have everything enabled. Any suggestions? (This is for Expense reporting and I'm getting anxious!)

Try clearing the Java cache as described at [http://www.java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml] and reload the applet.

Hope it helps.

Thanks - I tried that but it's still not working. The error log seems to indicate a security/permissions conflict. Would that be the case?
