I recently installed Firefox 4.0. Except for a few glitches, all went well except for one thing: There is no Firefox button. Instead, there are all the same menus as in earlier versions of Firefox. I couldn't find anything in tools=>options to change this.

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

  • You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden (View > Toolbars > Customize or right-click a toolbar).
  • If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily.
  • See "Firefox > Customize > Tabs on Top" to place the tab bar in either position.

The menu approach works. The right-click approach works only on the bottom toolbar, not on the one immediately below the address box. I found another approach to restoring the Menu Bar: FF Button => Options => Menu Bar.

Thanks for your help.
