FF 4.0.1...WRT120N Linksys router. url to management page 192.168.0.1.

Login dialog is presented. Enter nothing in name (correct!). Enter correct password. All that happens is that the dialog blinks and reappears.

NOTE: Login process works fine using Chrome or IE.

Huge Issue here guys.

Indeed, that solved the issue. Thank you very much.

Would you mind a very short tutorial on why that was causing the failure, what exactly is happening when that IS checked, and what am I giving up by having to keep it unchecked?

You're welcome.

I'm not quite sure why it affects the Linksys router, but I assume the login configuration requires a header which that option blocks.
