I used to type the first 1or2 letters of a website that I had been to before-a list would appear-I'd select the one I wanted. Very easy.Recently this has stopped and website addresses I frequently used have disappeared.Any help please.

Thanks cor-el. I think that has solved it to some extent - just need to get used to it looking different! I've had updates over the years and never had to change privacy settings. Anyhow great to get the help.

You're welcome

If you do not like the new appearance of Firefox 4 then you can change some setting to restore the Firefox 3 appearance.

You can right click the orange Firefox button to open the toolbar menu or use (F10) View > Toolbars.

  • Click the Menu Bar entry to make the Menu Bar visible.
  • Click "Tabs on Top" to remove the check mark and place the Tab Bar at its original position just above the browser window.
