The "go back/go forward" feature changed when I upgraded to 4.0. I like the old one which showed prior viewing history.

The current "go back/go forward" feature for 4.0.1 doesn't show prior viewing history like the last version did. I used to be able to put the mouse arrow over the tab and I could see the history. Now I have to right click. Can this setting be changed?

You don't actually need any drop-down arrows displayed, and I remove the one that would show and make the back forward indicators very much smaller and with other changes I get more displayed in less toolbar space. You can right-click on the back/forward two icon area which works the same as the drop-down arrow.

Most of the time I use the back/forward button on my mouse (having 5 or more buttons), or keyboard shortcuts and just refer to the toolbar as an indication of there being pages back or forward and just remove the tab when finished.

The single drop-down replaces two separate drop-downs. Think of it as as stuff piling up in a heap. The old stuff is on the bottom the new stuff is on the top, the blue-ball with the selection envelope around points to the current display.

There are extensions, themes, and styles that will restore what you are used to as two separate drop-downs, but the graphics for better or worse may not fit in with the new styling.

As I indicated I actually remove the dropdowns entirely from back/forward. with a style.

Also be aware that your History (Ctrl+H) can be viewed "by Last visited", and there is a History menu where you can pick up something recently viewed/deleted.
