I want to revert to Release Channel updates; currently on Beta Channel. I am unable to implement your online instructions (apparently out of date): https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/how-do-i-switch-update-channels

Please advise. Many thanks, Allan Leonard

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

Just download the version that you want to use and trash the current version to remove it.

Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

  • Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
  • Install the new version that you have downloaded

Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data.

Thanks! Worked except for loss of profile data; had to reintall Personas and add-ons.
