Pages printed from email come out garbled or in code--how to fix?

When I use my printer to print from windows programs, it is fine. When I try to print from an email program, the copy is overprinted and random, as if in some sort of code.

Based upon this comment - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=454532#c117 - it looks like a fix might be coming in Firefox 8.0.

I don't think my win2000 will support ff8--even if I have time to wait for it. Is there anything I can do now? And please don't make it too technical--i can't figure out much from the bug report, except tried to print from "print preview" that didn't work.

No there's really nothing you can do which isn't very technical. It's a bug in Firefox that has been around since Firefox 3.0 and is just getting fixed. AFAIK, there are no plans to stop W2000 support anytime soon, and Firefox 8.0 is like 11 weeks away from being released.
