I must reset the proxy everytime I launch Firefox 8 because I get the following message:

The proxy server is refusing connections

Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.

Check the proxy settings to make sure that they are correct.
Contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is
   working.

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I've already tried this, but it didn't solve the problem. This was never an issue with the previous version of Firefox, so it seems pretty obvious that a change made in the new software caused the problem. It needs to be found and fixed ASAP!
