I emptied my cache. I rebooted Firefox. This is my email website - never had a problem before. I am able to access it on Safari. I even tried the simple address (rather then my bookmarked login address) - still got the same error message!

I have the same problem: It says "Forbidden You don't have permission to access /_cqr/login on this server." I can access this site (AOL) on other browsers. After I sign in to AOL, I get this message. then i go to the address line and delete everything after the aol.com and then hit enter. then I am signed in and can read my e-mails. How can we fix this problem?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
I have been playing online games for seniors for about a year. to-night, I tried to open the site and I got the 403 error message that I was for bidden access to the website. I went to tools, deleted recent history, which empties the cache, deletes all cookies. I quit Firefox and reopened it, which also deletes all cookies, I restarted my Mac computer, I tried to access the site, but got the same error message.
I have the same problem which only affects one trusted website that I have used for years and am now denied access. I have cleared History and Cache but the problem is still there. What now? Sheenash
Where do I find the answer? Is there anybody there at Firefox?
Can you access that site via other browsers?
It is still possible that it is a problem with that server. You sometimes see such a error if the server has been taken down for maintenance or updates.
Yes, I was able to get on the site by using a proxy server instead of Firefox. I checked with somone else who uses the site and it was OK for her as I wondered if the site had been taken down for maintenance but that was not the case. This is the only site I have not been able to get access to with Firefox. I recently updated MBAMand had also done a System Restore before this happened. Could be a connection?
If it works via a proxy then the web server may be blocking your IP if that is an anonymous proxy.
Did you try to contact the site?
I did email the webmaster and got no reply. I have just checked the site today as I have every day for the last 10 days and it is now allowing me access again! I have not done anything different. Thanks for suggestions Sheenash
Postscript- I uninstalled Skype and after that there was no problem accessing the site that I had trouble with before. This may help someone else!
