After updating to FF 10 I can no longer download my USA Today e-edition
I subscribe to USA today e-edition, on tool bar they have button that will allow download of the "paper". AFter updating to Firefox 10 I can no longer download the paper. I can using Google Chrome. That indicates it's not a problem with USA today. Also, USA today uses Olive software to publish online.

Known problem with Olive, their browser version check apparently isn't able to read a double-digit major version number for Firefox. 10.0 is probably being seen as 1 instead of 10. Mozilla is going to contact either the online papers (Detroit Free Press uses Olive too) or Olive software itself.

Thanks so much. Can you provide a guess on if it will be fixed and by when (approximately 1, 2 weeks?)
Sorry, I don't know who with Mozilla does the outreach. It wouldn't for individual users to contact each website where that happens and let them know that their users are having problems using Firefox 10. After all, they had to fix it when Chrome hit 10 and will have to fix it when IE hits 10 later this year.
I am having a similar problem using Firefox 10 to download a pdf of the Raleigh News & Observer using Olive software. The download worked fine in Firefox 9, but Olive's download pull-down menu cannot be accessed with Firefox 10.
sablejb: I contacted olive via email. I also contacted USA today, supposed to here from them on Monday on resolution. I did tell them that I use firefox and the problem started the day after the updade (if they actually recorded it or not I dont know) will mention again when they call or I call back.
Thanks, jzee. I just sent e-mail to Olive Software explaining the "can't download" problem with Firefox 10. Yesterday (04feb12) I sent e-mail to Raleigh News & Observer. Haven't heard back from either company yet.
