dupe of https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/919161

Firefox keeps crashing when new. It has just re-updated and now crashes on every second website.

I am very unhappy about this, and would like to switch off the automatic updates. I tried before but as my system is in Dutch, it has a different layout - just to make things easier and more transparent.

I do not mind having a slower, older browser. I am fed up with constant crashes. Can anyone help?

Just a thought: is there a way to downgrade to Firefox 9, or a stable version? Either that or it is Chrome for me. Sorry. I have had enough of restarting my browser.
