Even with do not track turned on, Firefox is sending information to a bunch of sites, tracking my searches, clicks and other firefox activity. I can go the history and see a whole list of places where my browsing is being sent to. I seems that Do Not Track Does Not Work!!

Do Not Track is an opt in program. It simply tells advertisers that you don't want to be tracked, but not every advertiser has agreed to honor Do Not Track.

Read http://dnt.mozilla.org/ for more information.

That setting only makes Firefox send a DNT=1 header as part of the HTTP response headers.
It is up to web servers to decide what to do with it.

not sure that this has anything to do with advertisers, I see in my history that many searches and url's are tracked, and that my browsing in being sent to a bunch of orginizations. Why is it that when I look at my history that there are all of these embedded addresses to places I did not visit, and apparently are places that firefox is sending my history?????

Can you give an example? Items in your history are only on your pc, not sent to anyone else.
