I have to adjust my cookies and I found the instructions on your site. When I followed the instructions, I found that it seems for an older version and not the new one. The privacy settings are not the same as they once were and I can't make any adjustments to may cookies except to delete them.

What I could do was go to the 'Firefox' tab at the top left corner, go to history, Clear recent history, and so on. I can't make any adjustments to a single cookie. It's all or nothing.

Are there any other ways for me to make the adjustments?

I have gone and tried to suggest what you said, and it only caused more problems.

Also, by going to the orange Firefox button>Options, there is not Privacy to click on. Also, I'm supposed to go to 'Advanced Panel after going to Options and that too is not available for me to choose. I believe that these options would help me with what I'm looking for is they were set up the way they used to be. The instructions that the tech team or who ever is responsible for the updates to Firefox, is not what a user can follow.

What would you like to change?

To delete a cookie for a site, you can use the Show Cookies dialog. One way to get that dialog is to right-click a page on the site and choose View Page Info, then the Security tab. When you launch the dialog that way, the site's domain name already is entered into the search box.

To change the site's permissions for setting cookies, you can right-click a page on the site and choose View Page Info, then the Permissions tab. The third items allows you to set a site-specific block or other permission level.

More generally, you might need to make a change on this tab:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Options > Privacy

If you change the History drop-down to "Use custom settings..." then you have more controls available.

Does that address it?

If tabs like Privacy are missing in the Firefox/Tools > Option windows then check your add-ons (extensions/themes)

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
