I'm running Firefox 27.0.1 and receive the following error message when I try to download any files from Amazon S3 using S3Fox Organizer:

[Exception... "Not enough arguments [nsIWebBrowserPersist.saveURI]" nsresult: "0x80570001 (NS_ERROR_XPC_NOT_ENOUGH_ARGS)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://s3fox/content/js/xmlhttpNew.js :: <TOP_LEVEL> :: line 729" data: no]

I have uninstalled Firefox completely, reinstalled, updated all plugins, etc. and the problem persists. I did not have this issue prior to version 27.

That is a problem with the S3 Firefox Organizer(S3Fox) extension that shows in your System Details List.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

I understand it is an issue with the S3 Organizer extension. I have tried running the extension with the default theme, have turned off hardware acceleration, disabled all other extensions, and the problem is still present.

I do not have a problem with any other extensions. Starting in safe mode will not help me troubleshoot as the problem occurs when I attempt to download from S3 using the extension. Maybe I'm missing something with you saying to run safe mode..., but how would I troubleshoot the problem when safe mode does not allow you to run the extension.

Thanks

You need to contact the developer/creator of an extension in case there is a problem with an extension that you can't solve.
