Having updated to V28 firefox keeps crashing. Have tried safe mode, changed start page to 'blank', I have deleted all history, cookies etc and disabled trusteer. It will start if I click on a url in a document but if I try to start it by clicking on the shortcut, it crashes. This happened all day yesterday and continued today. Here are the crash reports for today.... bp-0b93ce2b-59f8-4639-8960-8452a2140319 19/03/14 11:36 bp-260621d7-dac1-4442-ad0f-14c3a2140319 19/03/14 11:12 bp-c7924ea9-fe8c-4904-b5c8-21d172140319 19/03/14 10:17 bp-aab504d3-8056-4075-981b-84ca72140319 19/03/14 10:15 bp-1c8d5715-b741-4082-8744-573652140319 19/03/14 10:15 bp-aa89e0ec-992e-42d9-b121-493ea2140319 19/03/14 10:14 bp-db9d0edf-86fb-4e3c-940f-2399b2140319 19/03/14 00:00

I faced a similar problem; updated to 28, started FF, then crashed.

What it solved it for me was, check on about:config if 'gfx.content.azure.backends' is set on the default value (modified mine to 'direct2d' trying to solve some slowdowns on 27, didn't work but forgot to change it back).

If not, right click on it and press reset option, mine changed to 'direct2d,cairo' and haven't crashed since.
