How do you create your own customer toolbars in the lastest version of Firefox verions 39. You use to be able to do this and this was easy as hell to do. Now I cannot locate this feature anywhere. How do you do this now? Because your FAQS on this are like every FAQ in existence...absolutely useless and a complete waste of time because they never include MY problem.

There are no longer easy ways to do this.

I do not know what your use case is and what you need but some ideas to consider. Bookmarks Toolbar No doubt you realise that is available from the customise menu. Menu button {three bar icon) -> Customize {[+]) -> [show hide toolbars] You may make space on it by nesting bookmark folders instead of having single bookmarks. You my put other items on it including icons and the search bar.

Menu Space You will have items in the menu that opens. You may modify that add or remove items. The space will expand as necessary and become scrollable. Try addons These adddons will create additional toolbars. (I have not tried them)

This one I have not tried recently. It has over 1/2 million users, and may be overkill but will certainly allow you to add and customise toolbars, /including if you wish the old type status bar along the bottom edge

(I note that is not a signed addon I hope that is not going to become an issue)
