Can I recover lost e-mail and contacts list after computer was cleaned
Had my computer fixed due to a virus. When I clicked on the desk top icon for Thunderbird my email wasn't there. We had 4 different e-mail addresses. The first one I was able to get back had most of the e-mails but no contact list. The second address I recovered had very few e-mails and also no contact list. I did try the server for assistance but was directed to phone support 650 903 0800 which was an automated system with no help available. Any help will be appreciated.

First off there is no telephone support for Thunderbird so beware of who you call.
Address books are stored on your hard drive. Load from a back up. No back up? Now you know.
If using POP email messages are on your hard drive. That backup thing again.
IMAP messages are on the providers server and should still be there.
Any messages that you moved to the Local Folder account are also on your local drive.
