Running Thunderbird 5 (updated June 10) on Windows 7, fully updated. Thunderbird stops responding to any attempt to read or retrieve mail and the (Not Responding) status is appended to the title. In Task Manager, I attempt to stop the Thunderbird.exe process, but that is not successful - command is simply ignored. I have gotten it to stop once by rebooting, but I won't go through this every day. any thoughts? Thanks.
