I am having repeated crashes on Firefox. Including in safe mode.

Over the past 2-3 days out of nowhere, my FF starts crashing after about 10 minutes, esp if I have more than 1 or 2 tabs open. I tried clearing the cache & cookies, running in safe mode, turning off all add-ons, all the usual things. I don't know what's causing it but I can't use the browser for anything under these circumstances.

I have tried it in safe mode, I tried rebooting my computer, Firefox and Flash are both up to date, I've checked for updates on everything else and I seem to be up to date.

Update Webroot SecureAnywhere. If the problem continues, disable it.

The crash reports are OOM (out of memory) reports where not enough contiguous free memory is available.

Do you let Windows handle the Page file automatically or have you set a fixed size for the Windows Page file ?

If you use a fixed size the try the automatic setting.

It says it's the latest version. I can check again.

I honestly don't know which version to download or how to run it. There's no info on the page and I'm completely lost as to how to do this. Any further instructions would help. Thanks.

There was a fixed size although I've never touched that setting. I switched it to automatic. Will let you know if that helps at all. I'm using Chrome now and it's seemingly stable.
