When Firefox updated, it wiped out all of my passwords I had saved and EVERY SINGLE BOOKMARK.

I am SO angry. I had bookmarks that I NEED and when Firefox updated, it wiped out every bookmark except for their BS "get started" one. I went and looked in about:profiles to see if there were older profiles I could go back to and nope! Just two. The one I am currently using and one for July 30. It also wiped out all of my passwords I had saved. WHY do you do this??? Don't you understand that people would not put their passwords in unless they NEEDED them to stay in there??? Also, my bookmarks.....I have no option that I am aware of that will allow me to get my long list of bookmarks back. I am just so frustrated and angry and am considering going to Chrome and let Firefox go away. Heck, I've even donated a time or two, but you can forget that now.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar. How many profiles are listed? How many should be there? Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.
