the first answer talked about a file named "prefs.js". I search all over my MacBook Pro (10.6.4) and cannot find such a file. So I still cannot change my settings for "Home Page". When FireFox is opened the same three tabs appear.

Thank you again, Ed Ryder

I went to the Application Support folder and there is no file named prefs.js there. The path ends with the Application Support folder. There is no Firefox folder in it. I have search all over my computer and there is no file prefs.js anywhere that I can find. I have removed Firefox and reinstalled a couple of ties with the same results. Eddie ryder
