When I open a page with lots of images on slow connection, images show up one by one. If I go down to read some text while images are downloading text begin to jump down when next image complitly downloaded. I'd like the frames of images to show at once to avoid this problem. Is it possible? Thank you.

The image size would need to be specified in the page source for each image for Firefox to set aside space for each image as the page loads. And if an actual border is wanted, that too would need to be specified.

Any particular reason that you are using a version of Firefox which is almost a year old?

So there is no any solution to problem of jumping page content while images loading?

Yes. I use plugin "Yandex Bar". It's not longer avaliable to download. And only way I could install it - restore my old backup of firefox. None of existing plagins can replace Bar's functional. So I have to use old version of FF. :(
