Firefox 68.0.2 keeps crashing when I launch it on a Mac in Mojave 10.14.5. crash report 1567196908
Hi, Firefox 68.0.2 keeps crashing when I launch it on a Mac in Mojave 10.14.5. The Crash report is in a file called InstallTime20190813150448 & the file says number: 1567196908. I there any way to fix this? I have tried to reinstall it several times but the issue persists. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi finchton.skateboards,
Sorry to hear you're having issues launching Firefox! You can try launching in Safe Mode if you haven't already.
To do this :
Hold the Shift key and double click on the Firefox Icon. If given the option, click Start in Safe Mode.

If this isn't possible, there has been issues with another user with a Facebook plugin causing the crash in this thread which has the solution and steps to reporting the crash by contributors : Firefox 63.0.1 crashes during every start / macOS Mojave {link}
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

InstallTime files like InstallTime20190813150448 are log files that are created when you update Firefox. They have nothing to do with crashes.
Thanks for your replies. The issue with obtaining the crash reports is that Firefox won't even launch. When clicking on the app icon nothing happens. In the meantime, I'll try in Safe Mode & will see how it goes.
Just tried in Safe Mode & the problem persists, app won't launch.
If you can't start Firefox, see: How to get the crash ID if Firefox crashes on startup
OK, I deleted a bunch of Mozilla Preference & cache files + reinstalled the app & it works perfectly now. Thanks for your help.
That was very good work. Well done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem as this could help others with similar problems.
