Anyone know of an add-on that would list the actual dialog that Thunderbird used to log in? From the EHELO onward?

Granted things "usually work fine" but when they don't, getting a message that Thunderbird can't validate the settings is quite unhelpful

Q: Something went wrong! A: then fix "something" and it won't be wrong again.

When it's MY server and I can see the output "ssl version unsupported" or whatever, it's easy to fix. When it's a third party it becomes a royal pain.

The dialog exists. Nothing secret about it. Just need to follow it and see where the wheels come off the wagon
