Blocking sites
Recently,as in within the last three hours i have tried using it, firefox has started blocking sites on me. The only message it gives me is connection not secure. It will block all my regular sites except one with this same message and when I clicked for help it blocked https://support.mozilla.org, so i am on my phone posting this. At the moment it is allowing me Netflix and Youtube, refusing me my preset homepage (That i didn't even choose) and almost ever site I type in including this one. I only have one extension that is purely for one site and not involving security. Firefox just pushed through an update last night and it allowed me on the sites then this morning they are all blocked due to connection errors. It doesn't allow me to exempt from these sites i use or view anything about them except I visited them 1,000 times this week and the connection isn't secure.

hello mlk,
sometimes the anti-virus programs are taken-aback with new versions of applications.
what you can try is to reboot your windows in a clean state, temporarily that is, just to see if the issue you are having is resolved.
if you no longer get the issue during a clean windows, then you have likely found where the problem is.
btw: i'm assuming its windows and not a mac because you are able to get netflix :-)
what version windows do you have?
I have windows 10 version 20H2
What do you have set here? See screenshot To get this location put this (about:preferences) in the address bar and hit enter. Then go down until you see Network Settings.
Modified
Use system Proxy settings
Socks v5
Everything else is blank or not selected.
the proxy's for my functional FF's on Win10 and Mac are set to "auto" and both have some entry pertainnig to cloud fire. See attached.
Nothing is selected there. It has Cloudflare (default) at the bottom but it is shaded out. Does not let me click it.
