Hi, I'm on a Mac Pro running 10.13.6 Recently, I've been able to run a website (prowritingaid) and at the same time keep Word documents open on the screen at the same time. If I click on Word document it closes Firefox. It on Firefox, I click on the word program, firefox disappears. Please advise. It may just be a settings issue. Thanks!

So is this Office 365? And is this open in firefox or word program itself? The screenshot doesn't show firefox but the doc itself? Seems from the screenshot is a standalone doc not open inside of Firefox. Word shouldn't affect Firefox as that is a browser not a word processing software.

I’m running Word for Mac version 14. It’s open in the word program. My issue is I can’t keep both Firefox and Word open at the same time. The browser is acting exclusively and I can’t minimize it to see the open Word doc. Either one is open or the other, not both???? It's as if there's a firewall between the two programs and I can't them both open so I can overlay them.

Thanks, S
