I work with multiple sites that have Dish Network SmartBox systems. These have a user interface that is an unsecured web interface. I connect to them directly with my laptop when I need to change the configurations. Recently, Firefox no longer lets me continue to these unsecured sites. I end up having to use Chrome. What do I need to change to get the option to continue to unsecured web addresses? I attached a picture of how it works in Chrome.

Does Firefox switch the https:// if you type http:// ? Is HTTPS-Only Mode enabled ?

There are several dom.security.https_only_mode prefs in about:config to can check out. See also browser.fixup.fallback-to-https

What is the specific security error message?
