I have "display your bookmarks" icon in my bookmarks toolbar, and after I click on it and show my bookmarks, after I select a bookmark I want the bookmark list to disappear - how?

I have "display your bookmarks" icon in my bookmarks toolbar. When I click on it, it shows my list of bookmarks on the left. Then, after I select a bookmark, I want the bookmark list to disappear automatically. How do I set Firefox up so that this happens? The way it works now, I have to click on the "x" to get rid of the list.

You can click the close X at the top right of the Bookmarks sidebar or click that Bookmark icon a second time to close the sidebar.

This extension has that feature to close the bookmarks panel after a bookmark is selected. I use it myself
