I am creating a website for a client and strange links are popping up in the text. For example the word father is highlighted and when you click on it takes you to a Johnson &Johnson advertisement. Similar things happen to words like games. A box comes up when you mouse over the text and a box pops up titled 'TEXT enhance' . This only happens in Firefox. Viewing the page in IE8 displays normally.

You may be infected with malware.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
