I emailed previously and got no response. I had to remove some sites under the password manager tab because incorrect usernames or passwords were stored. I am trying to re-save (new) usernames and passwords for sites, but the "key" icon which gives the Remember Passwords box does NOT show in the location bar.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode (Never Remember History).

Websites may be using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving and filling the name and password.

You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save names and passwords and other form data.
