Firefox 24.0 installed without my permission. Due to many issues (which I won't go into here) I wish to uninstall and revert to version 23.x.

How do I do this?

Please do note that Mozilla discloses security flaws after a new release (example, release 24 and announce security issues fixed from v23). You are setting your self up with a security risk.

SEE THE Install an older version of Firefox article for installing v23 (link at the bottom of that page).

May you please explain whats wrong with version 24? Your problem(s) could possibly be fixed.

Yes I linked to that, just be aware of the security risks.

What is wrong? Two issues.

The first is documented in the thread listed below. I am unable to restore my previous browser session. This is very frustrating, as I accumulate a *lot* of open tabs relating to various projects, and right now I have lost all that information.

Most frustrating is the fact that I cannot post my sessionstore.bak file so that this problem can be resolved.

Second is the general instability of this release; it appears to have significant issues handling memory. It crashed this morning with just three tabs open. It frequently goes into "browser not responding" mode, pegging out the CPU. Bad stuff.

Try to use a website like pastebin to upload such a file.
