I am getting an error after moving the contents of the profile folder to a new machine. The error reads: "Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and ... etc" Any idea why this is happening and how to solve it? The application works file on the old computer. I followed the guide to manual migration and copied the contents of the numbers folder within the profile folder using replace existing files.

Thank you,

You may have screwed up your file system permissions when copying over the folder from the old computer.

I was copying from a time machine backup. The file permissions must be a mess in these backups. I copied the files from the source hard drive and it worked fine. Thanks,
