When I try to sign in to Amazon using Firefox browser, the password box already shows an apparently infinite password entered. It is impossible to delete. Using another browser, Chrome, there is no problem.

Click in the password field. Type <Control> A to highlight everything. Then enter the correct password. The Password Manager should ask if you want to store that new password.

The password field remains filled with dots and unresponsive. The box is highlighted when I click on it, but nothing changes in the field.

I decided to try re-setting my password. This is the result:
