Tab crashing when watching wowtv.de
Hello,
For the past couple of months I have been experiences tab crashes every day when watching a specific streaming service called wowtv, all my other tabs are fine and work flawlessly. Additionally, after restoring the tab or opening it anew it works again for the next few hours until the next crash occurs. Netflix, disney+ and others work fine as well. So far I have tried reinstalling firefox as well as try other browsers where said issue doesn't occur. I sadly don't have the error message or anything but the video freezes just before crashing, neither closing all tabs 'nor trying an older firefox version fixed it for me.
With regards,
Marcinathi

Any relevant-looking messages in the Browser Console?
I managed to find a line that popped up when it froze just earlier today, it says something along the lines of: NS_ERROR_FILE_TOO_BIG: Component returned failure code: 0x8052000f (NS_ERROR_FILE_TOO_BIG) [nsIFaviconService.replaceFaviconDataFromDataURL] loadFavicon resource:///modules/PlacesUIUtils.sys.mjs:213
loadFavicon resource:///modules/PlacesUIUtils.sys.mjs:640 setIconFromLink resource:///actors/LinkHandlerParent.sys.mjs:139 receiveMessage resource:///actors/LinkHandlerParent.sys.mjs:60
LinkHandlerParent.sys.mjs:148:17
setIconFromLink resource:///actors/LinkHandlerParent.sys.mjs:148 receiveMessage resource:///actors/LinkHandlerParent.sys.mjs:60
Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?
If you use Sync, best is to disconnect Sync temporarily during troubleshooting.
This could be a problem with the places.sqlite and favicons.sqlite files in the Firefox profile folder.
- use the "Places Database" -> "Verify Integrity" button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page
If errors are reported with "Verify Integrity", close and restart Firefox or reboot and retry.
If "Verify Integrity" cannot repair places.sqlite, rename/remove all places.sqlite and favicons.sqlite files in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed. Firefox will rebuild places.sqlite and restore the bookmarks from the most recent JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.
- keep a backup copy of places.sqlite in case a new places.sqlite database has to be created
- you lose the history when a new places.sqlite is created
You may have to restore an older bookmarks backup in the bookmarkbackups folder via the Bookmarks Manager (Library).
- Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks -> Import & Backup -> Restore

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).
- Help -> More Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Folder/Directory:
