I cannot install a quicksearch bar - it's ridiculous Firefox have not made this fix easy to find!
The quicksearch bar which has been on my Firefox page for years, has now stopped working and on looking on forums it seems this is a known issue but Firefox don;t seem to have done anything constructive to fix this! I can't even install ANY searchbar, it's not helpful. Please advise, and might I suggest that you put info about this somewhere obvious!

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...

Are you asking about the standard Firefox search bar, or are you asking about software from some third party developer ?
The standard search bar continues to work as usual for me (and presumably for nearly all other users)
Also make sure that the "Match case" box on the Find bar (Ctrl+F) doesn't have a check-mark.
