When the text is fuzzy if I select the text it auto corrects to where is is clear and easy to read. scrolling down a page the affected "band" converts the text to fuzzy as it nears the top of the screen. The "band" seems to vary in size but is always there. This fuzzy text issue does not happen in other browsers.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

When I load it in safe mode the problem is gone, but it is not resolved. I disabled the add-ons one at a time (not in safe mode) and disabled ALL add ons and replaced the theme but the problem remains when not in safe mode. I rely on my add ons and cannot function working in safe mode all of the time. What can I do to fully resolve this issue?

I should add that I appreciate the attention you have given my problem.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox (this requires to close and restart Firefox).
