When I am composing an e-mail, typing a web address etc is not automatically shown in blue and does not operate as a hyperlink. Can anyone help, please?

For the recipient the link will appear as a hyperlink. You can verify this by sending a message to yourself with the link.

It's just in the compose window where it isn't clickable.
