When will the official Firefox for x64 Windows be released?
When will the official Firefox for x64 Windows be released? Please note that Chrome has recently released their official x64 version for Windows.

No the Win64 is not on hiatus. Sure there has not been a priority to work on Win64 since it was moved to Tier 3 support in Dec 2012 as Mozilla intended to put the Win64 on Nightly channel on hold before then which is where the idea of being put on hiatus is from. There is one main bug report that has to be dealt with then there is some potential of moving closer to Release happening.

No news of it recently...but till then you don't have to reinstall firefox or java, you can just download and install the 32bit-java next to your currently installed java version. it should then be picked up by firefox and be displayed under firefox > addons > plugins
Sorry, there is no timetable for a release version of Firefox x64 for Windows. Development for it is currently on hiatus.
