Updated to 38.3.0 now will not retrieve email from road runner accounts
Since update to 38.3.0 my Thunderbird road runner email accounts will not retrieve emails. The status bar shows that it is connected to the pop-server.nc.rr.com but it hangs there, eventually times out without retrieving the emails. Uninstalled and reinstalled the application but it still won't work. The only extension was lightning and disabling it didn't help. The only add on active is flash player.

If problem goes away, then cause is something like antivirus or firewall software
