Do use the same Administrative password for all browsers? Because my Adminisstrative password does not work on my windows vista either?

Typically when the Administrative password is asked for, that would be the Administrative password for Windows. And that would be the same for all applications on that PC.

Try using the password for the "Admin" logon user account on that PC. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/lost-your-windows-administrator-password-heres-how-to-fix-it/ "... since Vista, there hasn’t been a system-wide “‘Administrator password"

Firefox doesn't use an "Administrative" password (called the Master Password when the user activates that feature in Firefox) and I have never used any other application that had anything called "Administrative password".
