Chosen solution

When you reset your password, did you delete or edit the old one in TB, Tools/Options/Security/Passwords/Saved Passwords, Show Passwords?

If your host is omnis.com, the smtp settings should be mail.kgcr.org on port 587, connection security = none, authentication = password transmitted insecurely, user name = your email address.

I have deleted all my profiles, uninstalled all Thunderbird programs, re-installed them and STILL get the message of "Login failed" when attempting to send a message. I know I have entered the correct password.
