My comp is using approx 70 gigs for the last few months, before that I only used approx 15 to 20 gigs a month. Why am I using so much more data?
Since Verizon changed the unlimited plan a few months ago to throttle down the speed after you use 15 gigs of data every month, my computer has been using approx 70 gigs a month, as opposed to my average monthly usage that was approx 16 gigs a month. I haven't changed how I use my computer, but I am suddenly using four times the data after Verizon made that change, Why??? Dell techs said it could be Windows 10 updates, but 55 gigs a month??? That's not possible. And they turned off Windows updates a few weeks ago, and it didn't change anything, I'm still averaging 70 gigs a month. So now I use up my 4g fast speed gigs in less than a week, so I am at the slow speed for three weeks, so how can it be that I am using so much data all of a sudden these last few months??? Thanks so much for any help you can give me. THANKS! Sam

This isn't really a browser issue. I'd suggest trying to determine the source of the download usage (BTW, don't disable Windows updates, just set it to not use a metered connection and connect to public WiFi or something from time to time to update.)
