Installed v57.0 and the icon to download items or documents has disappeared. How do I get it back?

Since v.57.0 installed itself on my Win7 Home Premium 64bit laptop, I cannot download documents or anything as the icon for downloading has disappeared. I do have the icon to view downloads, but not the download icon itself.

How do I get it back?

Thanks.

Hello, click on the 3 line menu (upper right hand side), then click on Customize... >> Click on the download icon in the Customize window and uncheck the box that says auto-hide -- like in the attached screenshot.

That only gets me the icon to show what has been downloaded (the download file).

I need the actual download icon so that when I find a document I need, I can download it. That is the one missing.

Thanks.

You normally download a file by using "Save Link As" or "Save Page As" in the right-click context menu.
