Thunderbird shows 48 characters instead of a saved password, after clicking "Show passwords" button in "Saved logins" from "Privacy & Security" tab.

Is that an Oauth or APP password? If so, and if it's working, it's correct. If you're sure you know the correct one, you can update it.

Thank you for the answer. Looks like "Normal password" which I had previously was changed to OAuth2 after changing POP3 to IMAP settings.
