Thunderbird 128 hangs when waking from sleep on Mac Sequoia 15.0.1

more options

When my MacBook Pro 14" (M2) wakes from sleep with Thunderbird 128 running, TB hangs, by which I mean it does not respond. The window is not visible unless I close or minimize enough other windows to display it, and then there is the little spinning multicolored circle that means it's hung. This lasts a long time, I'm not sure how long because I usually force quit it, but many minutes. After the force quit it works normally... until the next time the system wakes. What's going on here?

When I finished submitting this question and went back to check TB it was working again, but this was after at least 10 minutes of hang, if not more.
