I have tried several times to add the Mypoints Toolbar and have been stopped by Mozilla Firefox, which I have just installed today, again. When I attempt to have complete installation, I get a puzzle piece in the top left hand corner of the browser window that tells me "The add on could not be loaded because of a connection failure on www.mypoints.com." The version of Mozilla Firefox I have downloaded is the most current one available at this time. It was a suggestion from MyPoints at the following website: https://www.mypoints.com/emp/u/toolbar/v4/simply_search.vm that either IE or Mozilla Firefox would be adequate. I am not finding it so. Do you have any suggestions so that I may tell MyPoints.com Customer Service for any other of their members who have similar issues?

Chosen solution

I do not see this on the blocklist

Does that work for you ?

The toolbar appeared to be available from there. I did get a drop down warning / doorhanger appearing top left but not with the wording you mention. I appear to have the option to allow download and installation.

I was not going to proceed any further as it is not the sort of site or software I have any confidence in.

My dear feer56, if there was a way to take a "screen shot" of the problem. I would gladly do so. That is why I have given as much a description as I can possibly do. Have you read the description in its entirety? When I gave the description, I was in a Mozilla Firefox browser. is there a way I can be any more helpful to get this resolved?

That toolbar is a bunch of crap and Firefox is blocking you from using such crap.

Sorry for your bad experience with the MyPoints toolbar, but I've been a member since 2005 and just LOVE IT! In MY opinion, the MyPoints toolbar is not crap.

I based my "crap" statement on the two links I gave, not my own experience. Sorry about that.
