I can't easily find info on the button. Via a right click I choose the option to move it to the menu. Now I can't find it anywhere. Don't know how to use it if I did find it.

That is a part of the Social API, allowing to "Share This Page" [the URL] on the social networking websites shown here: https://activations.cdn.mozilla.net/en-US/

You need to use that activations page for the social networking websites you belong to so you can use that Share This Page button.

  • "Remove from Toolbar" will remove this item from the Navigation Toolbar and moves it to the Customize palette ("3-bar" Firefox menu button > Customize)
  • "Move to Menu" will move this item to the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list
  • "Move to Toolbar" in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list will move this item to the toolbar
