I have an Outlook calendar that displayed in Windows Live Mail. I have switched to Thunderbird and added Lightning. I want to display my Outlook Calendar without having to look at it in a browser tab.

No can do... Microsoft chose not to enable any industry standard way to share their calendar data. I suggest you get a provider that is somewhat more enlightened. Google and Yahoo both offer industry standard CALDAV
